First of all, thanks to everyone who voted!
I purchased my truck used with 21,000 miles on the clock. The previous owner installed leather seats and Cadillac gauges so the interior was good in my eyes. Nothing has changed on the inside except for the 5% tint all of the way around. It is my first V8 so I really wanted some Flows :lol:.
An intake, and exhaust turned into an addiction! 5 years later and the the truck has transformed from the daily driver into the weekend warrior.
As it currently sits, it has a 4/6 drop, Calvert Racing traction bars, Eagle Alloy billet wheels wrapped in 305/45-18 555r tires. The front is a 255/55-18 Michelin. I pulled the rear bumper in favor of a roll pan. A cowl hood, some paint matching and more miscellaneous billet accessories finished off the look I was after.
On the performance side, I swapped in a 5.7 LS1. Around the power plant are some stage II Patriot LS6 heads (11.0:1), a 231/239 .617/.623 111+2 cam with Comp push rods and Patriot gold duals. On top is a ported fast 90mm intake, Nick Williams throttle body, and functional ram air. Out back are some Pacesetter longtubes with ORY, and DMH electric cutout, all going through a performabuilt 60e, tripple disk Circle D 3600 converter and 4.10 gears with a detroit tru-trac.
For my power adder(s) I have two NX kits running through a dual 90mm Nitrous Outlet plate that are controlled by a FJO progressive controller. To feed the fuel, I installed a Nitrous Outlet dedicated fuel system to push some race fuel through with the nitrous.
My current best track time is 11.5@118mph on a single 125 shot. Since then I've changed converters, suspension, wheels/tires, and added another stage of nitrous. Who knows where it will be with these changes and an additional 100 to 125 shot...
